Black Stars striker Asamoah Gyan has been lauded by his senior brother Baffour Gyan for his mental toughness following the recent intricate conditions the 28-year-old has gone through.

The captain who failed to guide the Black Stars past the group stages of the World cup for the first time in history was hit by a deep misfortune after he lost his close pal and Music partner “Castro” when the two went to spend some time at a resort in Ada weeks ago.

Gyan, whose chum is feared dead after drowning in a river whiles jet skiing have not been himself after efforts made to rescue his friend has proved futile over the past weeks.

His senior brother Baffour Gyan has therefore heap praises on him for being mentally focus since the unfortunate incidence.

“We have been through a lot in recent times. Gyan is a very focused individual and he listens to me a lot and I will always praise him for his mental toughness,” Baffour, a former Slovan Liberec player told Africanfootball.com

Asamoah Gyan is currently with his Club Al Ain preparing for the up-coming season in the UAE.
