BLACK PRINCESSES MIDFIELDER ALICE EVA DANSO ADMITS TOUGH TEST FROM HOST NATION CANADA

Black Princesses midfielder Alice Eva Danso has admitted a tough challenge from group opponent Canada indicating they will have to do their best to beat the host in the opening game of the U-20 women’s World Cup.

The Princesses will lock horns with the host in the first game of the tournament on August 5 at the National Stadium in Toronto.

The Canadians who look favorite on paper after their exploits in previous tournaments will also face a stiff test from the Princesses who have been in superior shape ahead of the competition.

Danso, who is the deputy skipper of the Princesses in an interview with FIFA.com, believes the game against Canada will be tough.

“We know that we are in a strong group and that the game against Canada will be very tough. They are the hosts, and we know how they play. They are a physical side and we will have to do at our best if we want to beat them,” Danso said.

Head Coach Bashiru Hayford will be counting on the experience of the Police Ladies attacking midfielder after representing Ghana in the same competition two years ago in Japan.
