Former
Asante Kotoko midfielder Abdul Samad Oppong could be making a come-back to the
Club after reports indicated that the 26-year-old has been training with the
Reds.
The attacking midfielder who penned down a three year deal with
Cypriot top
division side Ethnikos Achnas last year August from New Edubiase could re-unite
with his former club after failing to have a successful season with the Achniotes spending most of his
playing time on the bench.
Unconfirmed reports denote that management of Asante Kotoko
has been talking with the former Ghana U-17 Player.
Oppong wants to revive his career after an injury-plagued
season saw him play only nine matches for Edubiase in the 2012/13 Ghana Premier
League. The agile attacking minded player has also had stint with Algerian
outfit ES Setif.
