BLACK PRINCESSES DRAW IN FIRST WARM UP GAME AHEAD OF WORLD CUP




The Black Princesses on Friday managed 1-1 stalemate with a Canadian select side in a friendly game as part of their preparation ahead of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup which will be hosted by Canada next month.

It was the first warm up game for Bashiru Hayford’s side since leaving the country a week ago to begin their training tour ahead of the competition.

Midfielder Jennifer Cudjoe cancelled out a goal scored by the Canadian side after 90 minutes to see the Princesses draw in their first test game before the tournament kick start on August 5.

The Princesses are tired up in Group A with host Canada, Finland and Korea DPR. Ghana opens her campaign with the host on August 5 in Toronto.
