Hearts of Oak captain Moro Abubarkar will be put on a special
training ahead of the 2014/15 league season according to team Physiotherapist
Bostie Commey.
The 24-year old picked up a knee injury in January this
year which eventually ruled him out of the second round of the 2013/14 league
season.
The
industrious midfielder who missed out of the CHAN tournament with the local
Black Stars is yet to begin full training after going through a successful surgery
in March this year.
The
hard working midfielder who has not kicked a ball ever since sustaining the adverse
injury is yet to join his team-mates to prepare ahead of the upcoming season.
“Moro
we are actually taking precautions not to put pressure on his knee. So we will
have to put him on a special training to get him to the level of the other
players before he starts full training with them”, Botsie noted.
Moro’s
tireless efforts and drive was sorely missed by the Phobians after finishing 3rd
in the domestic top flight last season.
