REVEALED: HEARTS TO NAME NEW HEAD COACH ON TUESDAY JUNE 8TH




Accra Hearts of Oak will name their new head coach on Tuesday June 8th, SPORTS LOUNGE has gathered. The Rainbow Club who recently pattered ways with former coach Mohammed Polo are set to name a new coach before the season kick starts.

Hearts of Oak from reports are in talks with several coaches with the likes of Black Stars Psychologist Proff. Mintah, Hearts of Lions head Coach Yusif Abubarkar and Inter Allies trainer Hebert Addo being named as possible replacement for Mohammed Polo.

In an interview with Happy Fm, Spokes person of the Club Muheed Sayed revealed that management are in talks with several coaches and are set to name a new head coach for the team on Tuesday.

“You are aware things didn’t go well last season. So this time around the leaders of the Club are putting in place measures to enable everything go well in the coming season”.

“Our players were supposed to start the pre-season training on 1st July. But till that date we had not finalized negotiation with the coaches we were speaking with. So we asked the players to wait and come next Tuesday”.

“So we are still talking with the coaches and latest by Tuesday we can name a new coach for the players to report back for their pre-season training with the coach”.

However Muheed did not let “the cat out of the bag” as he refused to voice out any name. Hearts of Oak will be participating in the CAF Confederation Cup after finishing 3rd last season in the domestic top flight
