Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari might be making a comeback
to the Black Stars after reports indicated that the 28-year old was planning an
apology to FA executive committee member Moses Armah Parker.
Muntari has been slapped with an indefinite suspension by
the Ghana FA after physically assaulting the FA Executive member when he
launched an “unprovoked attack” on him [Moses Parker] during a meeting between
the Black Stars playing body and officials in Maceio [Brazil].
The AC Milan star has since come under great criticism
after the barbaric incidence, with many Ghanaian football enthusiasts calling
for an apology from Muntari.
Although Muntari’s parents have already apologized to the
Medeama owner, the former Inter Milan, Sunderland and Portsmouth player has
admitted his culpability and is planning to render a solemn apology to the
astute Ghanaian football administrator.
Muntari have been depicted as the “bad boy” in the Black
Stars team after the player’s involvement in several ill-mannered behaviors
over the past years.
