GHANA MIDFIELDER AFRIYIE ACQUAH HABOURING DREAM OF PLAYING IN ENGLAND.




Ghana midfielder Ebenezer Afriyie Acquah has revealed his desire to play in the English Premier League in the near future.

The former FC Palermo player who was a member of the Black Stars squad that participated at the just ended FIFA World Cup recently signed a permanent deal with Italian side Parma after spending the 2013/2014 season on-loan with the Crusaders.

At age 22, Afriyie Acquah, a former Ghana youth international has revealed his intention to play for one of the top clubs in the English premier league in the near future.

“For me England is where I want to play my football. I want to play for one of the big clubs in England being it Chelsea, Manchester United or Arsenal. In fact any of the big clubs in the English premier league. Am still young and it is my aim to play my football in England in the near future”, he said on the Delay Show.

Afriyie who only tested 20 minutes at the 2014 FIFA World Cup for the Black Stars after coming on as a second half substitute in Ghana’s 1-2 loss to Portugal has won the Hearts of many Ghanaians after a successful season with Parma in the Italian Seria “A”.
