MUNTARI TO OPEN A NEW CAR GARAGE IN GHANA




Ghana and AC Milan midfielder Sulley Ali Muntari is on the quest of opening a new garage in Ghana. The 28 year old who has a car garage in Italy where he base revealed this in an interview with Namibian Big Brother representative Maria Nepembe on her  TV show Glam TV.

 According to the former Inter Milan midfielder, he is about to open a branch in Ghana.

“Soon am going to open the same garage in Ghana so anyone who wants his or her car to be fixed can bring it to be fixed”. He said.

 Muntari opened his car garage in Milan October last year where he revealed his love for the automobile ‘pimping’ business which he describes as his second life apart from football.

LANGUAGE BARRIER IS STILL A PROBLEM FOR ME-WARIS






Ghana prolific striker Abdul Majeed Waris has revealed to
SPORTS LOUNGE that the Language barrier in France has always been a major challenge for him.

The 22 year old striker who is currently on loan at French outfit Valencienne from Russian side Spartak Moscow exclusively told SPORTS LOUNGE that he is finding it difficult to communicate with his team mate and technical heads.



“ The Language barrier is still a problem for me, and that is what am working towards it, because as a footballer we communicate very on the field of play, and that is key if I can mingle and be with team mate and again listen to instruction from  the technical team during training and on match days”. The former BK Hacken goal poacher said in an exclusive interview with SPORTS LOUNGE.

The Black Stars attacker who is on the radar of Ghana’s head coach Kwasi Appiah as one of his potential strikers to make it to the World cup has netted in 4 goals in 7 appearances for the Les Athéniens.

MAIDENS YET TO FLY TO US FOR TRAINING TOUR




Vice Chairman of the national under 17 team (Black Maidens),  Samuel Oduro Nyarko has revealed that the Black maidens are yet to emplane to the US for their training tour ahead of their World Cup campaign next month.

The Maidens who had 13 of their players denied visas by the US embassy last week were all granted visas on Monday after the intervention of the sports minister. Oduro Nyarko confirmed.

But according to the Vice Chairman, the team is yet to leave the country for their training tour as they are waiting for money from the Sports Minister to acquire traveling tickets.

“We are waiting for the minister to tell us when to go. We are waiting for him to give us money. And if all thing works out well, I believe we will leave latest by Thursday”. He spoke with Power FM.

Ghana is scheduled to have their training tour in Alabama (USA). 

The Black Maidens have been paired with stiff oppositions Germany, North Korea and Canada, and will be hoping to at least make a repeat of the stunning performance they put up two years ago in Azerbaijan when they won bronze.

BECHEM UNITED PRESIDENT HAILS NEW COACH TOM STRAND




President of Bechem United Kingsley Owusu Achaiu aka (Agama) has applauded new coach Tom Strand for urging the team to its current position on the log sheet.

 Bechem United who were lying 11th before the signing of the 31year old trainer are now lying 7th on the table after the Swedish lead them to two successive wins on a row. And the President of the Club has hailed his coach for a yeoman’s job.

“I think he has done a very good job so far. Looking at the way he has transformed the team. He has been able to take the guys true series of activities. Also he has been able to maintain a good personal relationship with the boys. I think he has done well. He said in an interview with an Accra based radio station Power FM.

The former Tema Youth coach who has also coached Golden boots Academy, a soccer academy in Akosombo took charge from Serbian coach Miroslav Bogdanovic last month. The Scandinavian has won all two games in the First Capital Premier League ever since taking charge of the Bechem based side.
