BREAKING NEWS: MUHEED SAYED BLUSH AWAY SOS CALL RUMOR FOR GOALKEEPER LAUD QUARTEY

Spokesperson of Accra Hearts of Oak Muheed Sayed has refuted recent anecdote about the club planning to hand an SOS call for Goalkeeper Laud Quartey to replace injured goalkeeper Philemon McCarthy who sustained a leg injury in their 3-1 lost to Liberty professionals at the Alhaji Sly Tetteh Park on Sunday March 29.

There have been recent rumor in the media stating that Hearts of Oak has handed an SOS call to bring back goalkeeper Laud Quartey who is currently outside the country. But the communication director of the Cub Muheed Sayed has blushed away those reports.

“It is not true; we have even not spoken about him before. I don’t know where they picked that story from because doctors have even told us McCarthy will be back in two weeks time”.  He told Accra based Montie FM.

“McCarthy and Tetteh Lugard are our first team goalkeepers and the guy who replaced McCarthy in the Liberty game and Gariba Ankaba are our second team goalkeepers. So those are the four goalkeepers we have”. He added

Hearts of Oak will be depending on their second team goalkeepers as goalkeeper Tetteh Lugard has also been sidelined due to injury.
