HEBERT ADDO PRAISE PLAYERS FIGHTING SPIRIT

Head coach of Inter Allies Hebert Addo has lauded his players for their fighting spirit in their match day 25 fixture with Wa All Stars.

The premier league debutants on Wednesday afternoon piped “The Blues” by 1-0 at the Tema Park in their midweek meeting of the first capital plus premier league.

Allies who had dominated the entire duration of the game got the only goal of the match in the 85th min through forward Safiu Abdul Fatau following a nice one-two with team mate Prosper Kasim to slot in from close range.

“As you can see today things were not going well but we [Inter Allies] were fighting to the end, eventually we got the win and this is what I want to thank the boys for. For their fighting spirit. Appreciation of what went on and I hope they keep that for our next 5 matches”, Coach Addo told SPORTS LOUNGE just after their game at the Tema Park.

The win pushes Allies above the relegation zone as they are now lying 13th with 31 points. They now face league leaders Asante Kotoko on Sunday at the Dansoman Karl Raindorf Park.
