Head coach of Secondi Hasaccas Yusif Basigi has attributed his sides defeat to Inter Allies in the first Capital plus premier League to the absence of 4 key players in his set up.
The Gyendu
lads were humbled by 2 goals to zero by the Premier league debutants at the
Tema Park on Saturday to record a third straight win at home. Allies who have
hit an immense form since Coach Herbert Addo took charge from Kofi Koomson in
the second round of the league have been unbeaten in the second round at home,
and Saturday was no exception when they wiped the “Doo” boys at their favorite
grounds.
But head
coach of the side Yusif Basigi says his side’s 2-0 suffering was due to the
absence of 4 key players.
“It is not a
fair result but all the same I will say the boys have done well. That is
football. One thing is that I have missed 4 of my key players which have really
affected me a little bit. With them I think we could have won the game easily.
2 key central defenders, one midfielder and one potent striker. And even my
goalkeeper George Owu, he is also having a slight figure injury”. He told SPORTS LOUNGE.
Hasaccas
despite the loss to Inter Allies maintain their 4th position on the
table with 35 points and will now face Asante Kotoko at the Secondi Essipong
Stadium.
