Ghana midfielder Charles Takyi scored the consolation for Energie Cottbus in their 2-1 away defeat to VFL Bochum in the German Bundesliga II on Sunday afternoon.
The 28 year
old scored in the 28th min before German midfielder Sven Kreyer cancelled
the lead with a wonderful screamer in the 68th min.
Bochum shot themselves
in front when former German youth striker Richard Sukuta-Pasu converted a
penalty kick in the 74th min to beat the away side by 2 goals to
one.
The former
St Pauli midfielder however lasted the entire duration for Cottbus. The goal
makes it his second of the season for relegation threatening side who now lie
18th with 28 points.
