ASH GOLD SUPPORTERS CALM AFTER EDUBIASE WIN

Ashanti Gold Supporters have remained calm after the teams 2-1 win in their week 21 league fixture against New Edubiase at the Obuasi Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Fans of the club for the past few weeks have been calling for the sack of head coach Bashiru Hayford after a recent poor run in the second round of the league. But the spokesperson of the club Kofi Yawson has revealed that the fans have remained calm after their win over Edubaise.

“Before the game, they were chanting in our local language, Cudjo Fianoo go! Bashiru go!. But after the win everybody was happy. We were all happy, singing and chanting, having fun and so on. So right now that we have won everything is over and the fans are calm”. The spokes person told Power FM.

Ashanti Gold who lie 6th on the log with 31 points have only managed just one win, one stalemate and four loses in the second round will be hoping to secure themselves another win when they come up against Accra Hearts of Oak in Accra on Wednesday March 26.
