Ghanaian
wonder boy Abdul Majeed Waris has revealed his eagerness to keep French Ligue 1
side Valencienne in the French top flight.
Waris, 22
joined the Les Athenienes in January this year and has bagged in five goals in
nine appearances so far in the league.
The prolific
striker who is on loan from Russian side Spartak Moscow said he and his
colleagues will have to work harder in other to get the results.
“I have to
help my team remain in the French Lique 1 .We need to grind results as soon as
possible, the lads have what it takes to get those results and we will have to
achieve it together as a team if indeed we want to stay in the Lique, the
technical team has made it clear we have a chance to stay in the league and we
should do our possible best, we cannot afford to let our fans down and so we
have to work very hard to get those results”. He told SPORTS LOUNGE.

who has hit an immense form since joining AriĆ«l Jacobs’s
side has been tapped as one of the potential strikers for Ghana at the World
cup.
