DWARFS TO LEAVE FOR ANGOLA TODAY AHEAD OF CL 2ND LEAGUE TIRE WITH PETRO ATHLETICO
Ebusua Dwarfs will emplane to Angolan today with a 29-man contingent ahead of Sunday’s CAF Confederations Cup match against Petro Atletico in Luanda.
Dwarfs were expected to leave yesterday but the trip was postponed due to some difficulties with the team’s flight arrangements.
Coach Professor JK Mintah’s side will go into the reverse fixture of the continental assignment with a 2-0 lead from the first leg last Sunday at the Robert Mensah Park.
Dwarfs must now avoid defeat away from home in Luanda to improve the team’s chances of progressing to the second round of the CAF Confederations Cup to face the winner of the clash between DR Congo outfit MK Etancheite and Ismaily Club of Egypt.
