After an
impressive display against Amidaus Professionals on Sunday, Accra Hearts of oak
fell as they were piped 2-1 in their outstanding league fixture with Medeama SC
on Wednesday at the Takwa T&A Park.
The Phobians
who seemed to have hit back their form after recording a 3-0 over Amidaus were
shot stopped by the African campaigners.
Hearts
midfielder Emmanuel Hayford shot the Phobians in front in the 21st
min before Medeama midfielder Godbless
Asamoah got the equalizer for the Yellow and Mauve with a perfect volley outside the penalty box in the 38th
min. Striker Kabiru Moro got the match
winner 4 min from time after capitalizing on a defensive blander by the Phobians
to seal victory for the Takwa lads.
Despite the
loss Hearts still lie second on the table with 34 points with Medeama Climbing
to forth on the log.
