Ghana name
eight members of the bronze-winning squad at the previous FIFA U-17 Women’s
World Cup in the final team for Costa Rica.
Naomi Anima, Jane Ayieyam, Vida Opoku, Gladys Amfobea, Samira Abdul-Rahman, Belinda Anane, Laadi Issaka and Azume Adams are all selected in the list of 21 submitted for the tournament.
Fuseina Mumuni, who only recently turned 13 also makes the team for her World Cup debut and she is the youngest player at the competition.
The Black Maidens, who finished third at the finals in 2012 in Azerbaijan have been pit against the 2012 runners-up Korea DPR - champions of the inaugural edition in 2008 - against Germany and Canada at the group stage.
