MAIDENS GOALKEEPER ADAMS BELIEVES THEY CAN GO FAR IN WC

Black Maidens safes pair of hands Azume Adams says she believes the team can go far in the ongoing FIFA Women under 17 World Cup in Costa Rica.

Ghana who beat Germany 1-0 on Tuesday to become the first team to reach the quarter finals of this year’s competition will face Canada on Saturday in their final group game. But the 16 year old shot stopper believes the team can go far in the competition.

“Am am not surprise. I believe we can do more than this and go far. We had really planned before we came”. The Hasaccas ladies goalkeeper told Accra based City FM.

Azume who was voted the player of the match in Ghana’s game against Germany after putting up some splendid saves will be hoping to make history by helping the 2012 bronze medalist to at least a possible semi final berth if not a final.
