BREAKING NEWS: AMIDAUS DENIES SACKING COACH SHAIBU TANKO

President of Amidaus professional Alhaji Baba Gerdo has denied rumors about the club sacking head coach Shaibu Tanko.

News broke in yesterday that the Tema based side has axed their coach after eight games in the Premier League. But the president has denied that rumor.

“We have not sacked him. We have just asked him to step aside for some time. For now it is temporary”. He told Accra based Power FM.

Tanko who is a lecturer at the University of Wenniba signed for Amidaus last year November and led the Tema based side to three wins, four losses and one draw during his four month stint.
