“WE WANT TO SCORE 4 GOALS”-MEDEAMA PRESIDENT MOSES PARKER

President of Medeama SC Moses Armah Parker has hinted the team is targeting a minimum of four goals against ZESCO Club of Zambia come Sunday at the Essipong Stadium in Secondi.

The Yellow and Mauve take on the Zambian outfits in the round of 16 of the CAF Confederation Cup in the first league at home. The Zambians will be coming in very strong to keep Medeama on their toes after being aware of the splendid form of the Ghanians at home. But the President of the Takwa based side Moses Armah says they are targeting not less than 4 goals against the Team Ya Ziko as they are locally called in Zambia.

“You know how the previous results have been going. We are targeting 4 goals. We have paid the boys all their bonuses. We are sure of beating them convincingly come Sunday. We are just calling on every one to come support us”. He told Montie FM.

Zesco United beat Mozambiquian side Ferroviário Beira 1-0 on aggregate to qualify to this stage of the competition while Medeama also saw off Moroccan side Maghreb Fes to reach this stage.

Medeama will be hoping to make history by beating Coach Gearge Lwandamina’s men to make it to the group face of the competition in their maiden appearance.
