Ghana’s
Medeama SC had their first training section at the Levy Mwanawaza stadium in
Ndola on Friday morning ahead of their second league tier with ZESCO
United.
Medeama
who are scheduled to take on ZESCO on Saturday arrived in Zambia on Thursday afternoon and had their first training section on Friday morning. The
training which according to reports lasted for two hours saw head coach Carlos
Roberto taking his lads through some physicals and shooting skills.
The
yellow and Mauve who will be going into
the second league with a 2-0 advantage are expected to cause an upset in Zambia
to keep Ghana’s hopes of a representative in Africa alive after Asante Kotoko,
Ebusua Dwarfs and Berekum Chelsea were all booted out from the Champions and
Confederations cup.
Medeama
who are participating in their maiden edition will be hoping to make it into the
money Zone for the first time.
The
game kick starts at exactly 14:00 GMT.
