Hearts of
Oak coach Mohammed Polo secured himself a breathing space with a 3-0 win over
Amidaus professionals in week 20 of the first capital plus premier league.
Polo who has
been under intense pressure by Hearts of fans after a poor run ever since
taking on the Rainbow club managed a 3-0 win over the Tema based side on Sunday
afternoon at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Thanks to
goals from Eric Kumi, Selasi Adjei and Robin Gnagne. The win however put the
Phobians back in title contentions with arch rivals Asante Kotoko who also won
their game by 4-1. The 2008 League champions maintain their second spot with 34
points and a game in hand. 11 points adrift Kotoko.
