The national
under 17 female team, the Black Maidens will receive their winning bonuses of
1,500 dollars on Saturday. SPORTS LOUNGE can confirm.
Ghana beat
Korea DPR and Germany 2-0 and 1-0 respectively to advance to the next round of
the competition with a game in hand.
According to
the deputy Minister Joseph Yamin who is currently in Costa Rica with the team,
they will receive their winning bonuses on Saturday.
“You have no
problem with your allowances or your money. I always ask. Are we playing to
make a mark or we are in to play for winning bonus”.
“Before you
came for the tournament everything was sorted out. You don’t have a problem at
all. What is left now is for you to make a mark”.
“Roughly by
Saturday, then the man with the cash will be here to give your allowances or
you money. So you don’t have a problem with that. Just go out there and play”.
The Minister said.
The Maidens
will take on Canada in their final group game in Liberia.
